Itinerary
In the morning take 1-hour domestic flight from Addis Ababa to Dire Dawa. Then explore Dire Dawa, Ethiopia's second-largest city, known for its cosmopolitan atmosphere and historical significance. Visit Kefira Market, Railway Station and Kezira.
In the afternoon, drive 1:30hrs to the walled city of Harar. On the way visit Aweday Khat market, the biggest Khat market in Ethiopia. In the evening, witness the unforgettable tradition of hyena feeding, where locals feed wild hyenas by hand. Overnight at Royal Sunshine hotel or at the hotel of your choice.
